If you are interested in how much milk a goat produces on average per day, we are in a hurry with the answer.
Well, it depends of course on the breed of the goat and the breeding conditions. There are breeds that are more dairy and those that produce less food. On average, purebred goats with high milk production yields around 6 liters of milk per day.
Less productive breeds and goats fed with poor quality fodder produce even much smaller amounts of milk, only 0.5 – 2 liters per day.
So we can assume that an average goat fed a good quality feed should on average provide about 3-4 liters of milk per day.
