How long is an elephant’s trunk?

The African elephant’s trunk is usually about 1.8 – 2.1 meters (6 – 7 feet), the Indian elephant’s trunk is 1.5 to 2 meters. Interestingly, the proboscis itself can weigh up to 140 kg and hold 12 liters of water!
