Hockey is a team game, played mainly on ice, where the goal is to score as many points as possible by hammering a rubber puck into the opponent’s goal.

The team playing on the field consists of 6 people – a goalkeeper and five players in the field.

The basic unit for determining how long a hockey match lasts is the third. The playing time is 3 periods of 20 minutes, between which there is a 15-minute break. It is calculated according to the so-called „clean play”, i.e. he is detained in the event of a break ordered by the referee.
