How does a diesel engine work?

przez Tomasz

A diesel engine is also known as a diesel engine or a compression ignition engine. It is named after Rudolf Diesel (1858-1913), the German inventor who patented it. Unlike gasoline engines, Diesel does not need a spark plug to start. Instead, ignition occurs under the influence of compressed air, which generates a high temperature. The fuel most often used in diesel engines is diesel oil, commonly crude oil.
