Can dogs see right after birth?

After birth, puppies cannot see anything during the first days of their lives. Their eyes do not open until about 2 weeks after birth. Nevertheless, their vision is still very limited at first. On average, young dogs gain full vision after about 8 weeks. Of course, these values may differ depending on the breed or speed of maturation of our pet.
