Inches are mainly used to indicate the diagonal lengths of screens in televisions, monitors, and smartphones. What exactly is the length of 1 inch in terms of the metric system used in Poland?
1 inch equals 2.54 cm or 25.4 millimeters.
On the other side, 1 centimeter is 0.39 inch.
Using the example of a 40-inch TV:
40 x 2.54 = 101.6 cm.
So a TV with a screen diagonal of 40 “inches is equal to 101.6 centimeters.
